We don't have a tv, and I've never lived in a house with one since moving to London after leaving university 14/15 years ago. Can't say it's missed - Radio 4 gives the news and entertainment, with the odd music station and CD thrown in for good measure and we'll sometimes watch a DVD on the laptop. I do wonder how we'd ever have the time to watch anything if we did have it, to be honest - though I also wonder if, as our daughter grows up, we'll succumb in the long run! Good luck!

Initially we'll still use the internet at home and we may use iPlayer. It depends, chances are we'll stop thinking about TV programmes but the option of choosing our entertainment online is there. Why do you ask?

Not had a TV for over 5 years now. I keep up with the news and watch selective programmes online so I don't waste my time. An exception is the series 'FlashForward', which we go round to watch with the in-laws, making it a social affair.

I don't think you'll miss having a TV - I don't.

Having said all that, it is the world cup next year...
