- If anyone in the church convinces me that we have failed to address the issue of consumerism and that we really should, it’s Joel Osteen. The Guardian has a profile.
- The Telegraph has an intriguing article on Christian Britain from the perspective of an atheist. I think it highlights much of the best and worst of my Church of England friends. Incredible attachment, affection and place within the fabric and history of our country yet baptising an unbelieving nation and complicit in the creation of, as the author says, a nation of ‘atheist anglicans’.
