Ever wondered about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity? This FAQ is very helpful
I regularly argue with some of my evangelical Anglican friends about baptism, most are uncomfortable with this level of honesty that Bishop Alan Wilson has when he says the Book of Common Prayer teaches baptismal regeneration. Not sure about the implication that the alternatives are linked to heretical Pelagianism.
Hi Simon, thanks for the comment and an interesting post on apologetics. I take your point, although I’m not sure you’re being entirely fair to the intention of the article. Could they quote any verses without being accused of proof-texting? But if they get into exegesis then they can’t be concise. On the other hand the wiki article you reference is balanced but makes no reference to scripture or gives any clue as to why orthodox Christianity might read scripture differently. Telling people ‘what’ the belief system says, is always different to answering the question ‘why’ they think that or ‘how’ do they support their view. Anyway, thanks for the interesting post and I’ll link to that soon.
